    My son is on his way back to Arizona from California and Imessaged this to me, was news for me did not know this existed yetEating off I 15 in Barstow CA A dedicated TESLA charger at McDonalds .

    It's a Roadster charger, but...hey! It looks like it has a Model S adapter locked to it. Cool.

    Of course there are Superchargers nearby so most Model S owners would go there. But still, I used this one morning to top off while I ate breakfast after spending the night in Barstow.

    The charger has been there for years. The MS adapter is probably somewhat new. It is my understanding that a Roadster owner provided the charger. Don't know who paid for installation and electricity. Used it once - 208 volts = 48mph ideal charge rate. Sure beats 40amp charging.
