Just wanted to let people know of an issue I had with my 2017 Tesla MX75D with AP2.5 MCU1 and a fix for it. My MCU/screen was freezing, broken navigation, random shut downs, remote app problems, errors supercharging, climate control problems plus many other issues. I logged and recorded everything for Tesla Service over a period of 1 month and 3k miles.
The service center had my car for 2 days before figuring out the problem. It turns out that my USB key used for dash cam recording and sentry mode recording was not compatible with the car. It was an expensive name brand one too. The computer was having problems with it and overworking causing it to lock up. The manager suggested I use a USB SSD drive instead with 2 partitions. One for recording and other for music files.
