Hey,

I removed my center tray below my MCU on my 2016 and found this cord hanging down? Any idea what it’s for? My guess so that it connects to the MCU somewhere…

That's a special Ethernet connector for Tesla techs for diagnostics. You'll also find a blue 20-pin diagnostics connector as well in the same area.
