Unfortunately the chart on Tesla's website now shows "late May" for when the MCU2 retrofit will be available for HW2.0 cars instead of "late April" as it has said the entirety of April. Unfortunate but expected due to the current circumstances! Screen Shot 2020-04-29 at 3.37.29 AM.png

In one month, it's going to say "Late June".

Typical Tesla. Over-promise and under-deliver on dates. They should have just said September or something far out. If they released it in July, we'd all be happy. Instead, they have us checking every month, and some wasting service time by requesting service appointments as it's the only way to find out if it will be cancelled.

Yeah...of course the pandemic doesn't help but it would be nice to have a bit more clarity through the whole thing. And regarding bugging service centers I definitely agree.

It actually says "scheduling now" as of a couple days ago. I wanted to have FSD installed at the same time but that still says late May. Wonder if I should just try this now... 35D2BB75-46FB-4482-B186-F467890B28DD.jpeg

Ha! I feel bad for pestering so much but it'd be nice to get what we paid for! My appointment's set for the 18th to give them more time if they need it! Haha.

I have a 2013 Model S 85. My MCU1 died mid-February. I have been waiting to replace it with the MCU2 upgrade. Tesla service cannot give me a time frame. Is there a target date other than "Coming Soon"?

My original appointment was pushed back to June 1st and I haven't been denied/pushed back again yet...fingers crossed! They said they were just waiting on parts so hopefully now that Fremont is back up and going it'll be soon.
