Tesla Motors Club

There's beens numerous threads on quality issues with the MY (paint, panel gaps, etc.). Most I believe pertains with exterior cosmetic issues. The most extreme I read about (and watched a video) was on a MY owner that had water leak through its roof after going through a car wash.

I'm curious if there's been recurring reports on mechanical issues with the 1st batch of production (battery, charging, drivetrain, etc.)? And if so, did this also happen with the M3 when it launched a few years ago?
