Right now, I have to hit USB, artist, name, Album, and then song.

If my artist has a bunch of songs in different albums I have to do all this after each song. Is there a quick way to just play an artist at the top level that I'm missing? Thx!

    I don't have v4.0 yet.

No Shuffle?!? Arrrrrrgh. Music player Fail.

Is there a way create a playlist on a USB stick? I guess I can faux-shuffle them myself.

I have to believe a lot of these basic music features will be available in future updates. Same with the Nav system too. It does need work though but overall, I like it so far. Would still love to be able to control it (add songs to internal HD) over home WiFi so maybe that will be a part of the update that includes activating WiFi.

Hi there, I just got 4.0. I'm still confused though because media looks unchanged. Is there some way to select an artist and play it quickly? I still have to select usb->artist->album->song

Traveling so don't have my car nearby (sniff) but you might try removing and reinstalling your USB and see if that changes. The indexes are rebuilt each time the stick is inserted and seem to be cached. I think that may fix it....

Thanks, but will there be a PLAY button on the artist folder or something to that effect? right now clicking the arrow just opens the folder.

Thanks for this update...I really want to be able to listen to my Audiobooks, and why they didn't just include an 1/8" Aux jack is beyond me.

voice search is kinda wonky and it only seaches slacker not your usb stick as far as I can tell. Nothing happens when i select an artist with it.
