Media uses "Tesla" to mean smart new tech.

A couple of years ago, this headline would have read "The Apple of Vacuum Cleaners".

I remember in my youth, the expression in the US for the very best was "the Cadillac of ...." Then it became "the Mercedes of ...." I knew that Lexus had made it when I heard "the Lexus of ....". Now it is "the Tesla of..."
