Supercharger - Mehlville, MO

I see a Mehlville MO on the Tesla website as coming soon in 2018. Given I can't find any posts here or see it on supercharger.info, I presume this never got built. Too bad, as we maybe driving through the area and would rather not divert to St. Charles.

Yeah, St. Charles is a PITA unless you're traveling on I-70. But no evidence that Mehlville is imminent.

Just a note - you won't see any permit/construction status updates on supercharge.info unless people spot the permit or construction details and send the location info in. Live sites are both directly from the Tesla feed, as well as those confirmed as live on TMC (or other forums) - confirmed generally means a car plugged in and charging.

Mehlville is showing 2018, but there is a downtown location listed as opening in 2017. Maybe one of those new urban superchargers?

did not see a post here yet or a pin on the supercharger.info map. The mehlville mo supercharger is now under construction on the north side of south county mall.

Well with the new Kansas City supercharger and this supercharger popping up without much warning, I would not be shocked if there was also one being built right now in some random level of some random parking garage downtown.

There are at least 10 stalls at this install. More if some are hiding behind the dumpster.

I don’t think “shocking” is the right term, maybe surprised is. You know what is shocking, this Accident at Oxnard Supercharger Site and the fact no Teslas were involved

A good splitter for I-55.

It's a start - but they could use another one somewhere down the line. That's over 130 miles between there and the one in Miner...in the winter that would be tight with some of the smaller batteries.

I grew up (and my parents still live) in Ste. Genevieve - that would be a perfect exit for one!

I'm still waiting for the downtown one. My hope is that they put one very near i70 that we can quickly hop into and then get back on the interstate.

Workers were on site this morning. Area still roped off. Only change I could tell is that the red Tesla Parking Only signs are now up.
