Currently have the Garmin Drive Smart 61 LMT-S and very happy with its real time road hazard features. Which will tell you ahead where to traffic stoppage is located and how big (in miles) the delay is apt to be and give a choice of going around the blockage or just going ahead through it. I don’t have my Roadster yet, hence the question. How well does the Tesla GPS handle real time traffic alerts?

I have a 61 in my old VW. I've gotten recommended reroutes off the freeway several times due to traffic with both the Garmin and the Tesla. Tesla tends to be less dramatic than Garmin - just tells you where to go, without "alerts". Both seem to work.
