There are full page ads on the car mags touting their self driving E Class. I wonder if they are wondering about the timing what with the current media frenzy on this subject. If people think Auto pilot is a bad choice of describers, what will they think of self driving as a describer? The lawyers will love it.

Below is one of Daimler's ads in question for their 2017 E Class.
I tweeted it at CR to criticize their dumb article, which partly "calls for Tesla to ... stop referring to the system as "Autopilot" as it is misleading and potentially dangerous" - implying drivers are just plain stupid!
@ConsumerReports Why don't u complain abt Mercedes "self-driving car"? By YOUR FLAWED LOGIC this ad should be pulled
