Unfortunate event that a Mercedes crashed into SF Tesla store, injuring one person. At least no one is blaming unintended acceleration or autonomous driving features this time

A silver Mercedes crashed into a Tesla dealership on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco Monday afternoon, shattering windows at the facilities, officials said.

The driver of the Mercedes apparently tried to change lanes, hit the curb then panicked and hit the gas .... The driver reportedly hit a tree, a mailbox, a Muni sign and a traffic control box before running into the dealership.

One person was injured ... The extent of the person’s injuries was unknown.

The impact shattered two roughly 15-foot-high windows near the entrance of the building.

Make a note ' need to add some Bollards', does he not realize that Elon Musk has publicly thanked Mercedes-Benz for the loan helped keep Tesla alive in the early years. Does he not realize that MB made a killing on Tesla shares the profits from which they used to get into the battery business, he should be upset at MB for making the MB B model which used battery and drive train from Tesla.

Funny story. This week's issue of German car magazine Autobild has an old Tesla on its cover with the text "So greifen wir Tesla an" or How we will attack Tesla. I guess this driver took it a bit to literal.
