Merry X-Mas not working in 2018.24.1

When I try the Merry X Mas Holiday Show in the latest release, the show doesn't run and it consistently causes a reboot of the car.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Yes same with everyone else!
I was at a car show today and a few other Model X’s and none of us could do the Xmas dance as it would just crash and reboot the system.

I was preparing for an EV car show in Crescent City on the 4th, and wanted to use the holiday show, but no luck. It seems to have been short circuited (meaning it does not play).

Best u can do is summons the car forward 10ft, open all doors by fob, then close-all by fob, take a bow.

My X is a couple of weeks old...updated to 24.1 last week.

Same here. Central display crashes right after opening the window and the show stops. I’m not sure if it happened with 24.1 or the earlier versions since I haven’t tested it in a while.

It's possible that 2018 X's equipped with the MCU2 aren't affected.

Ours doesn't work and its a 5/2018 build.

My nephew gathered almost 100 people from around the lake house this weekend to see it.

The jeers of "call Elon" were kind of embarrassing.

This spring I had a bad door sensor, but at least the nephew only had 15 people there then.

Yea, we feel your pain we had family over for Father's day (our new 2018 Model X was a gift for my father) and everyone was hating on the poor quality of Tesla and all the issues the car is known to face and their skepticism was in fact true. The car totally crapped out in front a few dozen friends / family expecting a show.

If someone gets too close to the car or a bird flys too low it will stop.

I went 2 months before showing mine off so I could remedy any defects before my brother (a hater) ever saw it.

Does anybody have the show working? My Model X is on 2018.26 and all it does is roll down the 4 windows. How far away do you have to be from the vehicle?

Needs to be on flat surface ..clear of obstacles

Pretty sure it doesn’t work on mine, as all of the criteria are met.
