Metallic tap sound when braking..

I have a 2018 Model 3. Sometimes when I brake, I hear a metallic tap sound coming from the front brake area. Has anyone experienced this and if so, will Tesla cover it under warranty?

This does not happen all the time.

Yes I have this too! I have an apt on the 21st at my SC to get it checked out.

Are you taking about a click noise when you're on one pedal driving? It happens right as the car comes to a stop?

Yes! But I don’t have one pedal on. Just when I come to a stop or sometimes when I reverse

It's definitely normal when in high regen and hold mode. I never noticed it before turning that on.

No it is not. The sound happens right away when I step on the brake. It sometimes also happen when I step on the brake when backing up.

The sound seems to come from the the driver side brake area. The area that is in front of where my feet are.

Can you make it happen by not using the brake, and just suddenly let off the accelerator at low speed and let regen take over (probably want to be using "Hold Mode" driving to accentuate the regen slowing at low speed)?

It does not happen when I do not press the brake.
