Metro Atlanta Area Tesla Spotters Thread

Including suburbs and OTP of course...If you spot one... wave/peace sign/head nod/number of drive unit you are on just a friendly exchange. Post up the approximate time, location color etc.

I'll start.. saw a Red P85 at John's Creek LifeTime around 8:45 PM this evening.

Funny thing is I was seeing 2-3 Teslas a day before I received my Model S. I haven't seen another one in the wild since (except at super chargers and Fire & Brimstone.)

Saw a Brown Model S at the Regal Hollywood 24 movie theater on Sunday around 2PM. They parked next to my Roadster while I was inside. I find that my Roadster attracts other Teslas far more than my Model S does. See other Teslas all the time, but seeing a Brown one is more unusual.

White Model S turning into Ammersee Lakes on State Bridge Rd this evening.

2 white model S cars parked in front of The Patio on State Brdge in Johns Creek. Then again I was having lunch with the owners. Does that count? I usually see several each day in this area.

I usually pass two or three a day between Inman Park and East Atlanta Village. Sadly, 80% of the time, the other driver doesn't wave or anything though.

I was seeing two or three a day on the way to work. Once I purchased my MS, I rarely see one. I did however see one on State Bridge Road this AM.

I'm down in Atlanta at least once a month or so...I usually see at least one other one on the road.

Last time I was down there, there were about 6 at the SC at Atlantic Station.

If you all ever see a white S85 with TN plates, it's probably me. Give me a wave or come say hi!

So...is it just me or do you all find that Tesla owners in the metro area aren't very friendly...forget a wave, no head nod or peace sign ...nothing, not even a sideways glance...two cars just passing by.

I’m always waving at other Tesla’s, I probably get 25% wave backs. I think a few times others have waved at me before I could initiate, which is always nice.

Usually see at least one a day. Sometimes as many as four or five. But last week I was turning left at the light for Old Alabama on 141 and there were two Model S that passed me and kept going north on 141. Then as I'm waiting for the light i see another Model S coming South. And then two more turn from Old Alabama to head north. Plus mine makes a total of six at the intersection within a matter of seconds.

Finally got a wave from a Tesla owner last night. After dinner saw an MC Red P85 like mine with tint and a spoiler, but with 21 silver turbines...both of us ended on PIB west bound...this is a first time I saw my car(similar) from the outside on the road...looked awesome! We ended up driving side by side on PIB for about a mile or so before he made a left....I gave him a thumbs up.

I wave but I don't have my Tesla yet so maybe you missed me. One of my neighbors in St. Ives saw me acting like an idiot and stopped so I could look at his new X. There's a black S down the street but I haven't seen him return my wave.

So far, other Tesla drivers alway wave or do the thumbs up when we make eye contact. Reminds me of the old Corvette wave.. but now, I drive Tesla MS.
