Tesla's iCEO offers his view of the matter. . .

The upshot: The agreement is pretty good on the whole, and is about the best compromise anyone could reasonably expect. However, it requires that GM keep their US factories running. This may rob GM of much-needed flexibility in the future. "From that perspective, this agreement will obstruct GM's ability to regain its previous stature as a world-class car company."

Ya know, I'm starting to like this guy. He's really on the ball - a quick Google search will prove it. I'm hoping that they talk him into staying on.

I see two possible things keeping him around at least for a little while:

#1: Tesla doing an IPO so he makes some real $ from the experience.
#2: He makes sure that he gets the car he ordered!
