Maybe a sign we should have been going EV earlier, huh?Lol true. I love me some PS4S though so it'll be a toss up for my next set. We'll pretend there wasn't just a polar vortex here in Houston.
better late than never...

From their releases, it appears that they're comparing non acoustic foam to acoustic foam tires, which have already been available. But again, no one will know until they start getting installed"20 percent less perceptible road noise" what does it translate? 61db to 60db?
I’ve read April 1st in one press release and Q3 in another. I’m due for tires, these would be ideal for me. Hopefully the April 1st date is correct; my current set won’t last until Q3!
Source?Tire Rack expects to have Pilot Sport EV "late April"
I just called Michelin. The representative told me that the release of these tires has been delayed to around June, but that the date wasn’t confirmed.
very disappointedJust spoke to Michelin Customer Service.
The Pilot Sport EV will be available to purchase July 1, 2021 in the following sizes:
255/45R19
235/45R20
255/40R20
255/35R21
275/35R21
What on earth are they thinking? Who did they make these PS-EV tires for if not for Model 3 owners? I bet there are more potential 18" Aero tire customers out there (actively shopping for new tires) than for all other passenger EV wheel sizes combined (certainly in the US and possibly just in California and other summer-tire areas).Typical Michelin (and not only) MO of introducing a new tire in just a few sizes and specs initially. Sad they didnt even cover the OE sizes for Model 3 or non-P Model Y in 18/19/20 wheel sizes.
(previous msg) "So 18” Aero Wheel people (including myself) are out of luck."
