Michelin Pilot Sport EV Tires

Michelin released in February that they were releasing an EV tire in sizes for Tesla's. The anticipated release date was 30 days from the Media release in February 2021. Some of these tires have been seen in China, but there are still none available in the US. Calls to Michelin have gone unanswered. Tire Rack does not have any information on when they will be available. I've been postponing a tire purchase until these are available and have discussed with others that are waiting also.

Does anyone have any insight on when these tires will be available for purchase in the US? I will have to purchase a different tire soon!!

There are big supply issues in the tyre market currently. The pandemic is one problem but a general rubber shortage and all sorts of supply chain issues are also contributing. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Dead on Arrival is correct. o_O Summer tire, 20k mile warranty and doesn't even have sizes for Model S shown on their promo website... FAIL!

They're only available in a single 20" size right now.

Disappointingly, they're Summer tires with a 20,000 mile treadlife.
