Mileage on Brand New 3 MVPA?

Hi, I am picking up a M3 SR+ tomorrow but noticed on the MVPA that while the car is described as "New", the "Odometer" is showing as 100km (these items show up in the "Description of Property" section of the MVPA).

I read on another thread about someone getting a service/demo car with 50km, so 100km seems excessive for what I assume is a brand new car.

Why would this new car have 100km on it, and should I be concerned?

eg. If a used vehicle or service/demo vehicle is under a certain amount of km, can it still be described/sold as"New"?

I think it's a default number pre-filled in the form, not the true odometer reading. Mine also had 100 km listed in the form, but when I picked up the car it had 50 km.

I'm such a noob - and once I punched in "odometer" and "delivery" into the search function, I see this has already been asked and answered many times. This site is amazing

It's only a number that Tesla uses. It allows them to put a single number is and all cars, no matter how far they have been driven around the lot, will meet the criteria.

My friend saw a bunch of M3 being driven with Dealer plates. Fast delivery perhaps?

Thanks! Yeah, ours had 17km. Makes sense that the MVPA is set to a default like 100km to cover all vehicles.

Took delivery today. Done all paper wok and the car was not even at the parking lot. Delivery guy said it’s steal in detail shop. They will drive it over once they done. Around 20km I think when I got.
