Miles on your Model X at Delivery

I know it doesn't matter much but why do they have such high milage? I can't imagine they actually drive each car 20+ miles and the factory isn't THAT big .

My previous new cars sometimes had 10+ miles on it but they were moved unto and off ships. Tessa's don't drive very far.

Or maybe they do. You do know there's a test track at the factory don't you?

If they put it on a dyno to test it, that gets recorded too. It does not even need to see the light of day.

As part of the factory tour, they mentioned that each vehicle is tested on the dyno and test track behind the factory as part of QA cycle.

I have seen the track. You would have to do a lot of laps to get to any kind of mileage.

37 miles for me with the document stating 50
