Mirror issues

I’m on 2019.40.50.7 and my P3D’s mirrors don’t return to position after reversing. We have two profiles set up and this happens on both. The workaround is to select the driver’s profile which resets them back to where they should be. Anyone else noticed this issue?

Nope - have you tried doing a reset?

Yep, been happening since I got my 3. Clicking driver profile again seems to fix.

Tried doing a “hard reset?” You disconnect the 12v battery and then the main connection under the right hand side of the rear seat, under the foam block. This essentially turns off the car for real. Try at your own risk but the tech who came by to work on my car did this multiple times.

Alternatively it might be something Tesla can address OTA.

I don’t think I feel comfortable disconnecting the 12v battery myself. I’ll try a soft reset though as that might sort it (I hadn’t thought of that). I’m pretty sure it’s software-related as my 3 didn’t do this when I first got it.
