Mobile App update shows new info but you need to log out first

I got a note that the Tesla app that is on my phone had an update a few weeks ago so I installed it and didn't notice anything. Then I saw on another site that the update showed more info about charging history and how much you charge and if it was at home or at a supercharger or at other sites.

I didn't see if on my phone, so I logged out and then logged in again, and now it shows Charging on the list of options on the menu.

Only bad thing is that I now have to relink my phone to the car since logging out of the mobile site on my phone disconnected it.

I didn't have to log out & in, so maybe you just pushed it to fetch the data sooner that way.

You shouldn’t have to relink your phone after logging out and back in. I’ve never had to do that.

Here is what it says when I click on Sign Off.
Might be something with the settings on my phone? In any case it's no big deal since I keep the key card in my wallet in case my phone battery ever goes dead.

I rarely log out explicitly, but my login expires after a while (a few months?) and I have to log back in. I just tried logging out and I saw the same warning (I cancelled). They must have changed something in the app.

I'm on Android with the same version... i didn't notice any change. Last update I got a few weeks ago added "Charging Stats".

Not sure what this one did, so I came here to find out. The app store has the generic "Minor fixes and improvements" line with no details.

Yes. For me on the latest iOS app version it still required a 2022 firmware build on the car. Didn’t see the new features until the car was updated.
