Mobile charging for Australia

    Go to page 22 of this thread for determining the charge rate, I was plugging into a twin 15A powerpoint. No power was measured on the unconnected 3rd phase. Need a euro 3 phase socket, see post #557 above.

    Just got a used Model S 2015 - tried to charge at Chargepoint and EOApp public charger in Brunswick VIC. The car is limiting to 16A - why limited to 16A when it's capable 32A single phase charging? Does this mean Zappi home chargers capable of 32A (7kW) will also be limited to 16A at home?

    Some chargers can be limited to match the available power source and the car will read that limit during the handshake and stay within the chosen limit. That limit can be less than the charger is rated to. Try the car on a different charge point and see what happens. If you get the same result take a picture of the centre screen and post it here.
    P.S. You may need to post a few more times before you can post a picture due to Forum software restrictions.
