To date, Tesla options have focused on performance and luxury. I'd love to see a trim version of model of the X and ≡ that focuses on utility for rugged, active lifestyle people.

    - Rugged interior that can be easily cleaned (and not easily damaged by kids/dogs/equipment)
    - Composite lower body cladding to stop scratches and dings on gravel roads and heavy snow/salt/sand areas.
    - Think Audi Allroad or Subaru Outback with a Honda Element rugged interior.

    Thoughts?

Current speculation is the Model Y that Elon Musk accidentally let slip as coming will be a CUV.

With FW doors and folding seats for better utility I hope.

What he tweeted, then deleted, was one of either the 3 or Y would have FW doors. Nothing about the seats.

I think this is a great idea.

When the Honda cancelled the Element several years ago, many Element drivers were upset, because no other small CUV provided the same combination of huge interior space and rugged interior flooring. Sports equipment, pets, and children quickly cause floor carpet in a car to become dirty beyond anything but a mega steam cleaning.

Todd, I'm sorry to have to do this in the thread, but apparently your PMs are full so I can't reply to your last message. Clear some space my friend! :)
