Dang that makes me cry. You need to see if someone can put one of these on a model 3...

Geez, remind me never to move there. Growing up in Wisconsin, we used to have deer all over but never hit any. There must be a lot more up there
Strangely, when it happens, everyone assumes I hit the deer, when in fact, both times the deer runs into the side of the car, even though I'm braking and swerving to try to avoid the collision. Sometimes, sh*t happens. Last was in my 2016 Chevy Volt. They had to replace both passenger side doors, that's it. Deer wanted to cross the road, thru my Volt.

The deer are thick this year. Last night one jumped into the side of my driver's side while going 70 mph. Never saw it. I'm not sure yet if it will be totalled as I got rear ended last April and now this. It got the hood, windshield, all driver side panels and a bit of the back bumper. Car is a mess inside.

Ouch! Glad you're okay enough to write about it here. Keep us posted with what your insurance company decides.

I just got the estimate for repairs: $24,500 to fix. Needs new windshield and drivers side glass plus new A pillar, and even new passenger side glass window as their were shards that chipped that side from the impact. The insurance company is going to fix which part of me is glad because I paid for FSD on this and I don't know that I would want to pay 10k again if I changed vehicles. I really hope they change that to where FSD is part of your account and is transferable to another car in the case like an accident. The bad news is I'm being told it could take 2-3 months due to parts shortages. Oh well, we all walked away and I'm thankful for that.
