You have to remove the centre caps first. The lug covers can stay on though.

The covers are specifically designed for the Tesla 18" wheels. The center cap is hub centric to snap into the center hole and there are pincer clips that snap around the spokes. wont fit any other wheel. Your best bet if you can source some steel wheels for winter that fit are generic plastic wheel covers like CTC sell. If flat enough should give you similar aero effect.
