Model 3 battery size, cell type

    Any guesses on Model 3 battery capacity? Also we got a nice glimpse of the battery pack during the reveal, I'll leave a link. In my opinion it looked like the battery pack did look thicker, which implies that they will in fact use the larger cells as Elon suggested. He also said they will be produce the most advanced battery cell in the world.

    If the computer animation during the unveil reflects reality, then the battery will form the floor, with 8 leveled banks in a 4 by 2 configuration, with what may be two cooling ducts passing lengthwise through each bank:

    Since the cylindrical form factor is sub-optimal for space efficiency, I speculate that 'most advanced' means that they will go with something else on the Model 3 (and thus likely also future variants of the S/X).
