It is impossible to determine replacement battery cost for a battery that wouldn't need replaced for almost 10 years from today. This assumes that the battery warranty will be the same as current models (8 years).

Nope. However, several states mandate the warranty length of hybrid/EV batteries, so you could make a reasonable guess what the warranty will be if your state is one of those. Otherwise, the industry standard is 100,000k mile warranties over 8 or 10 year periods.

We won't know what replacements cost until people start actually driving them out of warranty and having to replace batteries. There are always lots of speculation and guesses as to replacement pack costs when a new EV releases, but by the time folks are actually having to buy replacement packs, those costs have gone down.

Note that buying a replacement battery for an EV or hybrid is a pretty rare event. Most people who have pack issues have it happen during the warranty, after that batteries have been very reliable.
