Model 3 Canada - Confirmed Orders Only thread

I had my VIN and my DS (Aaron) called me last week to let me know my car was going to be by the end of the week or early next week. The car is not here and my VIN disappeared last night (now it shows registration number). I emailed my DS and this is what I got back.

"I believe there was a technical error that was incorrectly attributing some Toronto deliveries to other cities. They may just be in the process of fixing that.

Let’s check back in early next week and see if it’s reappeared. "

Really hoping my pickup date isn't delayed.

I called him on Thursday to ask where my car was. He said it's in transit but doesn't know the exact location, which pretty much confirmed I wasn't getting it this week. I find it strange that Tesla specialists don't know where exactly the car is while in transit.

He also said once they receive the car, they have to keep it for 48 hours for inspection. So, I'm expecting a potential pickup date to be close to the end of next week if his projections are correct.

The reason I asked that question because I asked the same question to the US Tesla's staff that he told me only the DS has the info where the car is once in transit.

Made another visit to the Toronto lot with the Model 3's about an hour ago 4:20pm. Two security guards got excited when I was driving by.

Found my Blue 18 aero Model 3 too in the lot =p

No, didn't get out of my car due to the security guards jumping up and walking to my direction and saying stuff to me which I couldn't hear.

They got 40 new model 3 arrived in Toronto and all of them are 18" aero wheels.

Would be nice to have SOME communication from them. March 27th no VIN. Sport wheels. Regretting the wheel choice now. Hopefully that Doug Ford FB message is true that he'd honor rebates for any ordered/purchased cars. $4200 down should count for something.

I see some sport wheel deliveries happening in the US. Hopefully the Sport wheel Canadian Orders get their vins next week.

So.. I work as a bus driver in Kitchener Waterloo and a fellow driver told me yesterday that the Red Model 3 was driving around on Fischer-hallman rd yesterday.

I live near fischer hallman. Would have been nice to see it. But.. I'll be bringing mine back to KW on Saturday. We'll be seeing a LOT more soon.

There were suggestions/reports/statements that they might be coming by train to Concord, then by truck.

I think they come by rail and then pickup somewhere by trucks.
If they come through Windsor, I put a tent in front of the tunnel and ask my brother to put his before the bridge.
