I ordered on June 11 (black, rear wheel drive, long range etc.). Long time reservation holder.

Website showed 4-8 weeks delivery when I ordered. However I have no delivery estimate or VIN assigned over 1 month later.

Similar to me. I had 4-8 weeks, had a reservation for ages and the day I ordered (June 27) it jumped to Sept-Nov. Same config as you. When I spoke to Tesla they suggested that the new timeline is realistic but we could see things early. It's a pretty huge purchase to be kept in the dark about.

I didn’t hear anything till 5 weeks in then everything moved quickly. I don’t know if this is still a thing but you can only see your VIN a week before your delivery appointment. So what you’re looking for is a delivery specialist to contact you. I think they paused on Canadian deliveries for now but I can be wrong.

I think we're on hold for the moment and then we'll get a wave again. Fingers crossed.

My only hope for us is that they are waiting for enough cars to be produced so they can fill whatever vehicle it is that will be transporting them up here. This is the only thing that makes any sense to me as to why Canadians seem to not be getting any deliveries right now.

There was a huge push in late May/June to send cars to Canada to avoid going over the US 200k limit for the $7500 credit before July 1 I believe, additionally there was the change of government in Ontario which means the end of the EHVIP program any day. Those were two major factors for moving cars up to Canada and not delivering as many in the US. As of July 1, things have changed so it's likely back to a more normal delivery structure for Canada and the US. We just got lucky in June basically and received thousands of cars.

To me this makes it even more reason to send cars to Ontario now as we're at risk of losing $14k rather than $7500.

I agree. This is now either the last or 2’nd last (TBD) quarter in the US for the $7500 tax credit. Trying to stretch the 200,000’th US delivery to July 1 resulted in a major bonus for us up here. TESLA committed to the CDN push before the election and the potential incentive loss was a done deal. The International Center event was costly for them. They flew in and supported staff from across the US for it. The only future ‘International Center’ type events I see are big end of quarter or end of year pushes. The norm will return to deliveries from the SC’s. IMO The strong emphasis will now be on US deliveries until the $7500 tax credit steps down to $3750.

I called my local store, and they were saying the initial 4-8 weeks wait time was only applied to the very first batch. Now after first batch of delivery is completed, wait time is 3-5 months.
they are just towing the company line and telling you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. 2 months ago I was still being told by the people at west 4th it would be 12-18 months for delivery if someone was to place a new reservation.

my guess is we won't see any new deliveries of a model 3, in Vancouver at least, until the end of July at the earliest. More than likely it will be mid to late August. My reasoning for this is that this will allow them to help clear their backlog in the States.

Hopefully i'm wrong and we start to see them soon.

Right
I hope they do another batch of delivery in Aug.
