I was at my local Tesla store last weekend and was checking out the colors of the X and S models on display. I'm struggling with which color I will choose. I have eliminated white and black, but that's as far as I've gotten.
It is weird that I like the aero wheels?? I'm thinking red, aero wheels, chrome delete to match the wheels.
Everyone should just go with the free option, it looks the best anyway.
I normally wouldn't buy a red car, but it does intrigue me here. I just wish the Tesla red was more metallic.
I'm going with the blue and sport tires... The aeros are growing on me and I know they might be more practical, but I want the performance Model 3 so it's really not about practicality in the first place.
Yeah, black with the aero wheels looks good. Would be my second choice over blue with the upgraded wheels, but that's not worth the 2500.
To be the envy of all your friends, relatives, co-workers, and neighbors.... priceless!
Nah, I'd put that toward autopilot first.
I'll probably get the 18's, but I just wish the Aeros were slightly lighter in color. The spy pics always look like they are caked in brake dust.
The darker wheels remind me of cop cars.
Sounds like there will be two of that config in Dallas
Is there a tool to see how the aero wheels would look if they were plasti-dipped with the body colour?
No, I like them too. Imagine the red paint, aero wheels, and forthcoming white interior.
That's exactly it.
this is a really interesting comparison. The Aero wheels look much better on some colorways. In fact, the sport wheels don't look great on a couple colorways....
Agreed - with that comparison, the base Model is looking sufficiently baller.
For those of you in snowier areas considering taking "First Production"
the 18s are slightly better in snow than the 19s.
My plan, 18s on delivery, buy a set of "sexy" 19s for the summer.
Do we know if the aero's are covers over standard Tesla 18's or one piece?
