I’ve always found it humorous that when something happens to a Tesla the headline says Tesla. When something happens to any other car, the headline says car.

Was driving along the hwy and saw a dodge journey in flames on the side of the road. I tried to find any news article to find out what happened and there was none to be found. If only it was a Tesla then I would have found out.

If you saw a headline like “Camry crashes into laundromat” you would probably think it’s really weird that they are specifying the brand/model of car, as if somehow the fact that it was a Camry is what caused it to crash. But somehow with Tesla it just seems normal.

Tesla owners are more excited about making the car look good & interesting than check the detail safety features-this might not happen if the owner turn this safety feature ON;

I don't think Tesla has much more auto drive technology than other luxury automobiles. Musk has made so much news that everyone that dosen't have a Tesla thinks Tesa Drivers are driving under auto pilot control and are asleep at the wheel. Don't expect the news reporters to be more knowledgable. None of my Tesla friends depend much on the auto pilot.
