Model 3 doesnt sleep with new firmware setting that leaves car unlocked while at home

How are you determining the lack of sleep without TeslaFi?

the tesla ios "widget" thing will show when the car is asleep. locked the car, sleeps within 20 minutes

It's not teslafi related. I've recieved both of the recent updates, have teslafi running, have WAL disabled at home, and the car has been sleeping normally.

rtshefe: I had the same problem until I loaded 6.4 now it sleeps well. I came across another suggestion to make sure you've closed your tesla app on all your devices. If it is connected to your car it will prevent it from sleeping. You may already know this, just trying to help.

Running 24.6.9 and my car refuses to sleep at home with the doors unlocked, same issues as above. Changed password which from my understanding should lock out any apps out there trying to poll for information, except TeslaMate.

Any solutions out there yet other than simply turning this new leave-doors-unlocked-at-home feature off?

For anyone finding this thread via a search like I did -- go into TeslaMate options and uncheck "Vehicle must be locked" under Sleep Mode and it'll fix this issue.
