Model 3 Door Sill Plate Removal

Does anyone know how the door sill plate is attached? Is it adhesive? If it is adhesive, then if removed, what's the best way to reattach it? I have a paint chip around that area and my local body shop brought up this concern.

Reach out or go to service center and ask. Pretty sure they will help you out. Also maybe look in the parts catalog and see if it shows how it Mounts

I was told at the body shop today it was just adhesive. My door sills had to be repainted because of paint chips discovered on delivery day so they had to be removed.
