Model 3 - Early build (~VIN 1000) - Updated to 2018.42.3 - No Navigate on Autopilot

Any idea why I don't have navigate on autopilot? I have heard something about the maps possibly not being updated. Any way to check on this? Are some people just not getting Navigate on Autopilot yet?

I believe there's a calibration period of approx 40 miles. Have you driven that far yet?

Did you check in settings? Also have seen some people mentioning .3 issues with nav on autopilot

I have an August build, and no nav on autopilot on 42.3 either

There are no settings to check- they do not exist on my car on 42.3. No relevant settings under autopilot or navigation. Release notes didn't mention Nav on AP either.

Yeah - my release notes didn’t even mention navigate on AP. Very strange. Do you guys have the updated maps? Is there a way to confirm that?

Well, Nav on Autopilot magically appeared in settings overnight...so I guess patience is all that's needed if yours still isn't showing up

Nav on Autopilot requires (1) camera calibration from driving and (2) high-resolution maps. The car should download the maps fairly quickly if it is connected to WiFi, but the map download could take several days (or longer) if your car is only on Tesla’s cellular network.

Heh, just went and checked after seeing this and sure enough it's magically there now when it wasn't yesterday despite having done the 42.3 update Friday morning.

Nope, when I went from 39.7 to 42.3 release notes had nothing new other than the bit about key fobs.

No DoN mentioned, and no option in the AP menu for it. 24 hours later (this morning) still nothing.

Around 3pm this afternoon, still nothing.

Now just checked around 11 pm, and DoN just magically was there in the AP menu.

Well, even though it showed up in settings I have not seen a "Navigate on Autopilot button in a destination's turn-by-turn direction list" even after driving a couple hundred miles on autopilot....

I went into service and they pushed the 12.4 update to my car and now everything is working and I have N on A... finally
