Model 3 Financing Expired, Will EDD get pushed?

Hi Everyone,

I ordered a M3 STR+ back in August with delivery slated for Jan-Feb. I placed the order and applied for a loan through Tesla but did not accept it since I read you shouldn’t accept until your EDD is close.

In late December I reapply and get approved and this time accept the same terms since my EDD is close. Unfortunately my EDD got pushed to March and then now to May.

Today I wake up and see that my credit application expired. I don’t know whether to wait again until I’m close to my EDD or to reapply and hope my delivery date gets pushed forward. Any suggestions? It’s been nearly 7 months since I placed an order and it’s frustrating.

When dealing with uncertainty, it's best to wait until you have more information. I intend on financing a part of the vehicle, but I'm going to wait until I have the VIN. This is a clear indication the vehicle is on its way from what I've read.
