Hi all, I put my model 3 on ebay with no reserve: 2018 Tesla Model 3 | eBay Please bid if you think it's worth it! Starting bid $1
Having high bids at beginning of auction is actually not good. Pushes away the impulsive buyers later on.
Well, this is lovely... Just got an email from eBay that my account password was hacked, and they pulled my auctions! @#$*@#$*! I reset the password, but they deleted my listing and the description that I spent a while writing up. Looks like I have to start over again. I'll repost the link after I have time to relist it - a bit busy with worth this week. << We have reason to believe that your eBay account has been used fraudulently without your permission. We’ve reset your eBay password. If you had your PayPal account linked to your eBay account, we've disabled your PayPal link to protect your funds. [...] Here are the listings we removed: 332651346895 - 2018 Tesla Model 3 We appreciate your understanding and thank you for being part of our community. Thanks, eBay >> I am not happy with ebay and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone!
Also worth noting, many folks reached out to me privately to try to buy the car off auction - but I told them all to bid. I will relist in the same style again in the next few days (no reserve). But I wanted the auction to end on Sunday! Thanks ebay for screwing up the timing (((
As a small time eBay seller that does thousands of transactions a year, let me tell you: eBay support sucks!
Setting up two-factor authentication on eBay: harder than it should be eBay now recommends mobile over token-based two-factor authentication -- should you switch?
