Tesla’s latest firmware update for the Model 3 (2018.18.1) adds a frequently requested feature — auto-dimming high beams.
Auto high beams were made available for Tesla’s Model S and Model X last summer. When the feature was missing from the Model 3, TMC Member Lego Dad made a request to Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Twitter.
Musk simply replied, “Yes.” Less than two months later, the feature has arrived for Model 3 owners.
Additionally, the new software updates the media interface in an effort to make it easier to toggle between music and phone functions.
