Anyone with experience of glass issue, I noticed a large crack appear while driving, it is in the rear window. There was no ‘event’ or obvious damage. Service asked for photo’s to determine if it was under warranty (defect) or if I have to claim insurance, how could they know.
If it looks like there's an impact spot then they will send you through insurance. If it's just a crack with no obvious impact location then they will probably declare it a defect.
