What an exciting day in Tesla's history. I was one of those who got up before dawn and waiting hours in line for a reservation, but gave it up a few months later for a Model S CPO. Very excited for the official launch and huge success of the Model 3.

Per Tesla social media: Go to Tesla.com at 8:45 PM PT (11:45 ET) and the live stream will be hosted.

Well this is supposed to be the day of "actual content" thread, so I wanted to go ahead and get the URL out. I'll likely clean it up before the event starts and move all the pre-event chatter to the other thread.

Today the giant leap forward transitioning from a mine-and-burn hydrocarbon economy towards a clean solar/electric economy is happening!

I reserved my Model 3 Day 1 Hour 1. Little did I know I'd be purchasing the MS60 a few months later(grabbed that carrot the morning it became available). Now over a year later my MS60 morphed into a MS75 and it still keeps getting better with ota updates...what a freaking amazing car and company! The Model 3 will be epic!
