I am planning on removing my headliner to install a dashcam and while it's out, I'd like to dye it black/dark grey. Does anyone have either info on what the material is, or a recommendation for what dye/paint to use?
I am aware of the $1995 teslatap alcantara reupholster option, I don't think this is worth 2k to do.
I am also aware that I'll have to remove a bunch of plastic trim, speaker grilles, seatbelt adjuster covers, etc, mask and carefully paint it as well.
