Model 3 peeps

We just got our silver model 3 vin 4569. As I could not avoid the Piano black trim on the center console, I would like to wrap it. But would like to know to disassemble the model 3 center console piano trim pieces. Also how long it would take to do so and difficulty level.

It's not really necessary to take it apart. If you look on youtube, there is a video showing how to wrap it when its still assembled. Looks like turned out alright to me. I believe it is from company called "RPMTesla".

I just ordered the clear bra version and they told me they would also have Expel Stealth coming in if I want to try that also.

I wrapped ours the first night we got it. Bought the vinyl from Amazon for about $13. We did a plain glossy black just to get it covered right away and might do it again in a different material. I've never wrapped anything before and it was pretty easy. Just go slowly. Didn't need to disassemble anything.

They also told me they will have window and door lock button templates coming out soon.

Kit is out for delivery, but car is getting tinted + ceramic coating today and tomorrow, so won't install until tomorrow night.

Hey run-the-joules.....have you had a chance to wrap your center console yet? I'm thinking about getting the brushed titanium too....well, first, I need to get invited to configure my car....lol.

i think this is great. the model 3 is so simple you can wrap all the major surfaces of the car and then strip it off 10 years later and itll look like new.

Are they also going to make a dashkit for UV protection?

It does seem like there should be a Model 3 or Tesla specific Wiki for all the links to videos and products. Also a good place to track all the HW and SW issues with the cars...
