Model 3 Keyfob updated on Tesla shop to include passive entry

No battery drain issue? I thought I remember reading someone battery drained in a week.

That person would be me. 2 batteries drained in 3 weeks (1st was 1 week, 2nd was 2 weeks but I was traveling the entire 2nd week...)

if the battery in the fob dies, will it still unlock the car on the B pillar and start it on the cup holder?

Just got my fob for my Model 3 a few days ago. My phone worked roughly 75% of the time. The fob has failed unlocking the car on passive a few times as well...so I am thinking I may have an issue with the car?
Anyone else have any problems with the key fob and passive entry?
