Model 3 long range single motor?

I just bought a 2018 model 3 long range but the vin shows it as being a single motor. I have searched through several pages of a Google search and I can't find anything about a long range single motor model 3.

Was there single motor long range model 3s in 2018?

Yes, the first model 3's sold were the long range rear wheel drive (RWD) versions with just one motor.

Per wikipedia, the LR RWD were made July 2017 - November 2018 (and then also a brief period between March 2019 and June 2019).

Here is information from the model 3 wiki on wikipedia. It shows "RWD Long range" from 2017 - mid 2019:

I'm joining the group. In the process of purchasing a used 2018 LR RWD from Tesla. Had one as a loaner and was so impressed how much fun it was to drive. Trading off a 2020 MY for the cause.

I don't know for sure but even with out a heat pump I would think it's much better on the highway then my current Model Y. I know the 20 rims don't help. I believe the MY was rated at 240 Wh/mi but my life time has been around 340.

I traded mine in for the AWD version in December 2020. I was expecting an increase in consumption, but the difference is barely noticeable. No heat pump in either car.
