I ordered two days before you.. Got the same config (I did get FSD) and I'm in NoVA. I have the same delivery range.

I'm assuming that is what will happen. Either train or the same car carrier pooping yours out in KC before it heads to STL.
Popping in to say hello from STL!

Ordered 6/11 -- LR AWD, White / White, 19" Sport wheels, no FSD.

EDD has been late July through mid August for a few weeks, but it has been 11-17 weeks since Saturday. Fingers crossed my car is on the same train as ya'll!

Spent years trying to convince anyone that'd listen how awesome the M3 is...a friend recently decided to purchase an M3 LR AWD, made final payment and has a VIN...delivery date today, and today was told his car's been sold to someone else. Now expecting a delivery date sometime in September. Love my Tesla but hot damn please fix your communication issues with the delivery specialists. Buddy is really upset...fuming is more like it...😒
So my buddy got his M3 delivered to his home. He goes outside to look at it and sees this:

And Tesla wants him to pay for a new tire. I can’t believe what’s going on. I’m not sure how to reconcile my extremely bullish belief in Tesla as a company mixed in with their lousy customer service. Just sad.

Tesla and by extension Elon worship has always been cringe inducing and confusing to me. Often times I think that a lot of people aren’t realizing we are dealing with a billion dollar corporation just like any other, and by design they make money by trying to pull things like this.

They are very lucky that they are far ahead in the front in the EV industry because honestly if other car manufacturers like Toyota had anything close to the Model 3 or Model Y I probably wouldn’t have put in an order

100% agree here. If Toyota had something comparable I wouldn't even consider a Tesla.

Exactly. As a driver of Toyotas for many years I know there is no substitute for stellar customer service and a reputation of some of the most reliable vehicles for decades.

I know that when a Toyota has an issue, there are like 100+ certified locations that can fix the problem in just one state alone. Tesla has their mobile service for small issues but it just doesn’t compare

My range went to 7/18-8/6; ordered 6/16. I'm hoping that the train that is bringing yours on the 19th stops here in KC and gives me mine on the 18th 😁
I called the KC store this morning. They said my new VIN will be getting on a train soon in Fremont. Head to Chicago and then get back to KC on a truck/trailer. That my July 21 to July 27 delivery range date will likely go out until the end of the month. Happy to get some information on it. ALL ABOARD!

Of course, that's the thing isn't it. No one is even close to Tesla right now, which is why we are all visiting this thread daily. If the guy with the flat want's to trade spots with my car to be delivered in 2 months, I'll do it gladly and replace the tire myself.

I actually enjoy driving and therefore wouldn’t buy a Toyota regardless of their bulletproof reliability (the FT86 is a Subaru and the Supra is a BMW).
Still, the point is salient, Tesla’s order-to-delivery process is abysmal and their customer service is nonexistent. Cutting all these corners and ridding themselves of people who can actually help adds to their bottom line by reducing labor costs at the expense of the customer experience.

I totally get you being willing to trade spots, but the service will not improve if people are willing to accept stuff like being delivered a car with a flat tire.
