Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

End of March Tesla Rep found an acceptable car in inventory, sent me the URL, and I immediately ordered it while she was on the phone (thinking that I would get it quickly, being in-inventory). So, paperwork completed, delivery dates showed June. Huh? I was then told that "my" vehicle had been sold. But, I could change anything and it wouldn't set back my place in line & it would certainly be here by May something, so i changed interior to black from white. Order date is now Apr 7 ... and I have never seen any estimated delivery window dates. Contacted Telsa over the weekend & rep also was not able to see estimated Delivery dates for my order. He also was unable to see when my trade-in offer expires ... he would have my Delivery Specialist contact me.
Crickets.
Really hate to say it, but I am not having a good experience with Tesla so far. Especially considering that I can probably go pick out a Jeep or an Audi and drive it home tomorrow. Ten acres of land is kind of appealing as well. Don't get me wrong, I'd like the car, especially for when my family arrives from around the country to attend my daughter's graduation the beginning of June. Going to have to think about this one.
Pennsylvania, Apr 7, AWD, Blue, 19", Black interior (Also have a Cybertruck on order)
CyberPilot, my SA and Delivery Specialist were both duds and I attribute “0” to them for helping me get a car. I think I was lucky to place an order on 4/1 and my delivery date is 5/6. These SA’s work hard in getting you to place an order and then they go scarce after that. When I emailed the Delivery Specialist with a question she told me it was not her job and talk to the SA. When I used to email my SA it took days to get a response and usually the response was some canned answer.

Back to 1-13 weeks for me. Ordered and finished paperwork last week of March

Your love is like a Rollercoaster baby, baby
I wanna ride, yeah (awawawawawaw)

Mine went to 1-13 weeks today too. am sure it will change before the end of the week again.. who knows.. it may randomly turn into vin being assigned.

WA, my Tesla Advisor let me know to ignore what the website says, noting that Washington dealers/service centers generally get their shipments end of the quarter, ugh.

Ordered 4/1/21, hoping I don't end up waiting the full 3 months
I feel your pain/excitement... I'm in Seattle area as well. My SA is Rodolfo at Bellevue Square -- He's alright... would like to have a little more communication though. He's saying probably June, but could be end of May.

I'm in WA too and didn't know this. Thanks for posting now I won't refresh the page 9,000 times a day lol You've improved my sanity!

I've already ordered my floor mats, pre-cut PPF, practiced my polishing skills on my beat up old truck, bought stainless steel brake lines and suspension parts from MPP, and had an electrician install a home charger hahaha.

Oh yeah, sold my daily driver Subaru for the down payment too.

Would be hilarious if I ended up waiting the whole 3 months, but on the plus side, it seems Tesla has really upped their quality in the newer model 3s this year. Would rather wait longer for slight improvements: that's how I keep myself happy haha

I'm not so sure if I agree with the whole east to west thing. I live in New Hampshire, about as far east as it gets and my SA tells me mid-June, maybe early June. The "estimated" delivery dates seem to agree with this. No VIN. Ordered 4/01.
I'm not even sure it's all that legit either to be honest but from all the scouring of pages I've seen, it seems to be a common trend. That said, my date jumped back to May 27-June 16 and I expect it'll push back again further towards end of June.

Happy to be with my anxious brethren. I'm in Colorado Springs. Ordered 4/18. MSM/black interior, 18" wheels. No FSD. Current estimated delivery: May 24-June 13. But wait! Let me check ... maybe ... no, yeah, still the same.

I wake up every morning hoping there's one more thing I can learn about or do to prepare for my new baby (oops, I meant car).

The NEMA 14-50 w/ UMC or the high-powered wall charger? (3 hours lost to YouTube.) I need to order the 14-50 adapter. (Sadly, just 5 minutes.) But I need the Tesla cable organizer, too! (Again, 5 minutes.) I should probably learn the streaming bit rate of the in-car app vs. Bluetooth. (1 hour lost to YouTube.) Oh, let's research digging a trench from my panel to my cedar wood post for the 14-50 box. (30 minutes.) Or would I rather a rusted patina steel post? (45 minutes) James, focus on what's important! Google, how do I activate the fart horn on a Tesla? (10 minutes.) Ok, ok, maybe I should work now ... after watching a few more "Model 3 reaction" videos. (1 hour) Let's just look at photos of my baby again. God, she's beautiful. (30 minutes.) Has my delivery date changed? Better check.

Seriously, what am I doing even posting this? I got to go sell some houses to pay for this new expensive baby.

yeah I am in the same boat as everyone else.... it is so tempting to check like 20 times a day... LOL I usually try to limit myself to 5 times a day. Really really seriously hoping before may 30thto june 19th but I doubt it .. .its a mind game.

I think we will all be happy we ordered an EV rather than and ICE car, I saw an article on CNN yesterday about a gas shortage this summer. People will be driving more as the pandemic winds down, vacation. There is plenty of gasoline but the problem is the supply to the gas station. During the pandemic the number of new drivers has dwindled, laid off, high turnover rate, and extra training to drive and operate a gasoline rig. There will not be enough drivers to supply the gas stations so a shortage on gasoline. We will be smiling in our EV’s if this becomes true.
