Does anybody thats gotten a tesla very recently or about to get one know if it's officially a 2022 model? I know that you can tell by the VIN but i wasn't sure if Tesla is sending them out yet.

After 6 weeks of a 10/29-11/28 order window with no change I don't know what I'd do if I logged in one morning and it was different. I've almost forgotten ordering one, except for the 2-3 accessories I already bought. (And maaaan there's a long amazon wishlist for whenever I get a real ETA)

Yep. When the 30-day offer expires, you’ll get an email to update the mileage. Mine went up slightly the second time around.

According to this Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) – Year Codes | FCAR Tech USA, and the VIN I received when I called Tesla on Friday, it’s 2021 (M in tenth position)

Woohoo, I just had a Tesla sales advisor email to say I should expect delivery next week (which is the EDD listed in my account). My account page still doesn’t show a VIN, but the VIN is present using “View Page Source”, and when I called Tesla week.

If this all goes according to plan, then it’ll be pretty close to 60 days from order to delivery.

My current EDD is 12/7-12/31

I spoke to my SA about deferring and he said I could defer delivery up to 90 days no problem. Might differ from SA to SA but that’s what I was told haha.
