got that text on 12/16. No VIN yet for me. My original EDD was 12/16-31. Updated to 12/21-31 on 12/17.

I can't believe any company would ask for your username and password. I don't remember how I handled it when I bought my last Tesla but there is ZERO chance I would give anyone my bank credentials then or now.

Hi everyone! This will be my first post. I placed an order for my M3LR - blue/black/18" with no FSD on 10/30/2021.
My ESD was 12/8 to 12/31, which was later updated to 12/21 to 12/31 as each week surpassed.
On 12/16, I received that December or Delay Text.
On 12/18, I received a welcome to the Tesla family in the next 10-14 days text.
On the morning of 12/21, I checked my account and noticed the VIN was posted under my order # in the app, and the delivery date range disappeared.
In the evening of 12/21, I received the Congratulations it's time to schedule delivery text.
The only way I would be able to view the delivery date range was if I clicked on the Accept Delivery button.
I'm not available to take delivery these last two weeks of December so I e-mailed my SA to delay delivery. She said she would release the VIN upon my approval and I would wait for production in January and take delivery then.
So, who ever is next in line in So Cal (possibly in the OC) delivery area who ordered the same specs as me will be receiving a VIN and delivery text soon.

I got the text on 12/16 and vin on 12/19 picked up my car today 12/21, so not sure if there’s a pattern unfortunately.

Congrats! Mine's been stuck on 2/2-3/2 for awhile, but mine's red. OD 12/2. Maybe that's good news for me.

Showed Dec 12-31 then moved to jan 6-feb3. Updates yesterday again to show Dec 28-29.
Got my vin same day and notice to schedule delivery! Picking up Dec 28 first available slot! What a roller coaster haha
