received my VIN# yesterday , F155***
How do my chances look for Ryzen?
My Delivery Specialist was of no help....
So many people have been getting mixed answers from the Tesla agents. The second agent I spoke with seemed to make the most sense. He said nobody can pull the CPU info from the VIN or window sticker but they can pull the 12v battery info from the window sticker. He said if the 12v was upgraded to the Li battery, most likely the CPU was upgraded as well. This appears to be an educated guess from this agent but makes sense.

Just noticed that you also need to reorder the EDD dates on the y axis if you have time.

Thanks again.

Good Catch

This is all over the place haha.

Unless we get a huge sample size and could build a prediction model with parameters like destination, color, wheel size, and OD, I don't think we will see a trend here. Things might even be harder to predict since we don't know how their factories work (for example: do they rotate models every day? or is it based on the paint?) and how deliveries are planned (for instance... schedule of trains from the factories to delivery centers? I'd assume this is planned weeks in advance.)

I'm really impatient too but it feels like a delivery date will pop up someday and I have no way to predict when.

Hey all,
M3LR White/White 18" Aero
OD: 12/23/2021
Original EDD: 1/25 to 2/22
Looked yesterday and it was updated to 1/17 to 1/31

I see that my EDD is a lot sooner than many others who ordered before me. I wonder if my location has something to do with it. I'm picking up in Bloomington, IL which probably has a lot less demand than other locations. It's about 3 hours from Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. I see a few Teslas around here but they are not common at all.
Got an updated EDD a few days ago. Pushed back like most people here to 2/12 to 3/12.

I just got a trade in text message from Tesla. Does that mean my VIN will come soon?

I too had received this text only for my EDD to get pushed out further.

So i'm a alumni to this channel -- have had my model 3 now for about a month! I talked my friend into getting one... he drives a 2017 Porche. And submitted for trade in. He got a quote back of $2,000. His car is in great shape --- has anyone else had something like this happen? Resolution options? I told him to chat in and email the financing department... but it seems like a pretty BIG mistake to the tune of 10's of thousands of dollars....
We had a similar quote for our 2019 BMW - I asked by SA who explained that the offer value was closer to what we got from Vroom, etc, but the value in the account subtracts the payout from the current lender.

(ie: tesla car value estimate 40k, bank payout 35k, Tesla account will only show the 5k credit)

Correct!

Very hard to see trend in this spread. just wanted to see if there was anything trend to what people are reporting.
If someone is serious a better model can be made... but will have extract data from this character stream...TOO MUCH WORK

maybe if TMC can collect this info from the members and then we can recreate a prediction model!

Following the vein of SAs not knowing much, when I called I asked from what build date cars will have the new Ryzen chip. He said once a VIN is assigned they can tell what chip will be in the car. This is contrary to what others have been told. Seems like we may not know for sure until we actually get the car!

Two hundred years in the future, three humanoid-like cyborgs have stumbled upon the archives from this corner of the internet and are reading through this thread. One looks to the other two and says: “no wonder it was so easy to take over the whole planet.” The second cyborg looks back to the first and says “all we had to do was string them along with the bait of the false hope for a better commuting experience. Wild.”

Then Elon looks upon and cracks a small smile while nodding in agreement…

I really appreciate the time/work you put in to create this, thanks again. It still provides some sense for the EDD's with the current data at hand.
