Boy oh boy is this a rollercoaster of a forum.

Finally decided to pull the trigger on a Tesla.

M3 LR White ext, Black int, 18” aero, NO fsd.

OD: 2/3
EDD#1: March 2022
EDD#2: Feb 25 - Mar 25.

I’m based in Arizona.

For those of you who are very active in here how long is your estimate for when I will get this vehicle? Is there any chance I get it before the end of March?

Exact same config ordered 1/25 in Atlanta GA. My EDD was just moved to from March to May. Ugh.

fellow blue here! OD Jan 3rd! I had no idea they took "longer" when ordering.

One more in the Blue Man Group*, OD 12/10. I would think there is enough of a backup to do a blue run in Fremont. Can you picture a truckload of just blue M3's? Neither can I.

Interesting...GULP. I ordered 1/15 in Atlanta and I am still showing Feb 27- March27 right now on a MSM/Black interior LR3 no FSD.

You get a preference for your own vehicle, sure. What is not happening, though, is picking apart other peoples desires in this thread. If you want to have a "why" discussion, you can do so in the thread that discusses the general features for 2022 Model 3s:

Nice, you have the hairpin motors. Not a surprise for china though. Interestingly the power rating seems to be the same as earlier M3Ps (158 and 219 kW for front and rear respectively). Guess they are going for the efficiency increase rather than necessarily more power (at least for now).

Earlier this week, the EDD updated to May (April 28-May 30)
Removed my trade, so not sure if it will make a difference.

I texted Tesla yesterday with a few questions. I got my answer this morning.
“Hello, we took a look and it does look like your vehicle has the Ryzen Chip, the lv lithium Ion battery, and the dual pane rear windows. We aren't able to check on your heated wiper until the vehicle actually arrives on site.”

Just spoke to Tesla on the phone and was told that with my configuration and a delivery of 2/27–3/27 I should be getting my VIN assigned within the next 7 to 10 days or so.

He also said that a car “at this point” will have all the upgrades from glass, wipers, battery, new chip… but luckily for me none of those are a dealbreaker anyway.

We shall see!

Nope. But I HAVE seen SAs that have no idea what they're talking about. I wouldn't get my hopes up if one told me that my car had dual-pane rear windows but who knows...

From my reading of the thread and other places online only incomplete finances would have any impact. A set trade in would not.

In my view they assign a vehicle to you during your EDD or near it. You got a few days to get the finances resolved. If not you can put on hold and they will give you the next available matching config or the same if you are quick.

Been a bit again, all I know is Crany best have his VIN by now. My wall connector is being installed as we speak, delivery is next Wednesday...

...and it's being delivered to the shop where the PPF is being installed.... the wait shall continue....

Team Blue here as well. OD 10/30/21. Still waiting for VIN. My current EDD is 2/22-3/8. I have seen others who ordered after me with Blue vehicles receive their cars. I haven’t seen many deliveries to the Boston area since the beginning of the year.

I have been driving a blue Model 3 since 2018, and even with how common model 3s are in CA, I still dont see too many blue ones. I DO see model 3s (and now Ys) literally everywhere now, but the vast majority are white, grey or black (previously black was the free color). Both red and blue seem pretty rare.
