Woke up this morning to the much anticipated VIN! And a new EDD of 3/2 - 3/6. Picking up at Tyco Road in Tysons Corner.

179xxx. Not even going to bother inquiring whether it has Ryzen or Lithium 12v... pretty confident it does, but will roll with it regardless.

My loan from Tesla financing just expired.
The new one is 2.74%. Previously it was 2.49%.

Anyway around this? I’ve started to look at outside parties but my pickup is this Saturday.

forgot to mention my 174XXX had both ryzen and lithium ion.

didn’t ask the SA about it at all (didn’t really care either way) but when he was showing me around the interface he went into the system list and showed me the ryzen — then commented how it was “kinda a big deal these days”.

he also wasn’t that surprised that i had never driven a tesla OR been in one (came from 20 years off audi only ownership). i wonder what percent of buyers fit that.

Quick update. Got my VIN text 7pm on 2/11. Uploaded insurance info and applied for Tesla financing and got approval 5 min later. Received text last night to schedule delivery for 2/25. All my texts have been around 7pm CST.

Outside financing decisions are usually pretty darn quick and are definitely lower rates.

Now these changes seem comical, as if there really is some “precision” to these estimates. What does Tesla know today that was not known yesterday which warrants this latest EDD update? I worked as an Exec at Apple for years, and we never made so many shifts, if any, to a customer delivery date after a product was ordered.

Meanwhile, I’m Canadian, here in Toronto - ordered 3rd Jan and got the car VIN last week, with delivery scheduled for next week. No hold, no drama.

Which location did you set as your pickup? I scheduled my delivery to the Innisfil location with a order date of Jan 17, just wondering if locations play a roll.

Might be because everyone is expecting interest rates to start rising, even if the Fed hasn't done it yet.

Woke up to EDD#6 2/18 to 2/27. At least the range is narrowing, and the end date isn’t being pushed back.
